Improved QC offerings As quality is core to our business Smithstown have upgraded both Co-ordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to the latest Carl Zeiss Calypso 3D scanning software. We have also upgraded the scanning head on one of our CMMs to incorporate the latest VAST scanning technology. We can now offer our customers greater accuracy in shorter lead times. As part of the continued improvement program we have also made infrastructure improvements to our QC dept in order to provide finer temprature control as demanded by the soon to be implemented ISO17025 calibration standard.
